Find freedom and healing in your running.
Running can be an embodied experience.
We believe running should be an embodied experience. An opportunity to connect with others; a chance to get lost in nature and have a little adventure; a place you can thrive, feel empowered and be proud of what you and your body can do.
We have created this day of healing and nurturing to support your running journey. We want to help you learn new skills that encourage a healthier and happier relationship with running, your body and yourself.
In the long run this will also optimise both your health and performance.
It’s time to heal.
Whether you struggle with body image, disorder eating, exercise dependency, or for any other reason have a poor relationship with food, exercise, this is a space for you to work towards healing. And healing is completely possible.
In this healing workshop we come together as a group to change the way we treat ourselves. Our workshop leaders are experienced professionals who have been there - and back - and are dedicated to guiding you towards the path of full healing.
Through practices of mindfulness, sharing, and moving our bodies in trail running and yoga, we will spend the day sharing practical and proven ways to change your relationship with your body, your sport, and your self.

Lauren Munro Bennet
Lauren is a Mountain Leader, outdoor swim coach, run and multisport coach.
Growing up in the Lake District, she feels a connection to the area and is where her love of nature and the outdoors began and this is central to her core values in both her personal and professional life.
As a youngster, Lauren raced competitively in fell/mountain running and triathlons. Now, she can be found adventuring in the hills and at an odd fell race.
Lauren's coaching work was born out of a passion for creating spaces in which others thrive. She also champions the work of Anti Racist Cumbria and Black Trail Runners, making sure outdoor spaces are welcome and enjoyed by everyone.

Jenny Tough
Jenny Tough is a writer and adventurer, and an enthusiast for all things endurance challenges, particularly in the mountains. Whether it be a race or a solo adventure, her desire to push her limits has led her to numerous corners of the world.
In 2021 she completed a global challenge to run, solo and unsupported, across a mountain range on every continent, including three world-first traverses. Her journeys are documented in SOLO (Octopus, 2022). She’s also competed in long-distance bikepacking races, including becoming the two-time first woman in the Silk Road Mountain Race and first woman in the inaugural Atlas Mountain Race – considered two of the toughest off-road bike races.
Jenny had to take a hiatus from competitive ultras when she was diagnosed with RED-s, and needed to take time to acknowledge and recover from a long-term cycle of eating disorders and exercise dependency. She now shares her journey, and how she found healing, on her Substack.
Outside of her personal pursuits, she is on a mission to get more people outside and challenging their own comfort zones, particularly women and girls, which she has championed by launching a book called Tough Women: Adventure Stories.
“It was incredibly nourishing and will be a day I'll remember forever. It felt so special to have likeminded people in one place together, committed to supporting each other and community healing.”
